Computer Lab

CMS students have access to two computer labs, located in rooms B-1 & B-2.

Our computer labs have 76 student computers that are primarily used as teaching aids to assist students improve their skills in the areas of reading (fluency and comprehension), grammar, and math.  Students frequently visit the lab with their English Language Arts (ELA), Language Skills and Math classes to enjoy programs such as Reading Plus, Reading SOS, and Renaissance Place.  Accelerated Math, Accelerated Reader and STAR testing programs are also incorporated into the lab sessions.  Students also have access to Perfect Copy, which is designed to increase grammar skills,  and various Math and Reading internet-based learning sites.

The labs are also used to provide students with on-line search exercises.  Firewalls are in place from San Bernardino Superintendent of Schools as well as our own District to prevent access to social networking sites.
